Dr. Huff is great, he explains how my condition has affected me where we could understand it. He, also, changed my meds and really helped me with my condition.

Dr Houff introduced himself and was apologetic for keeping me waiting. I don't think he was late at all. That was something I had never experienced. I appreciated that he considers his patients time important. His friendly nature helped to calm my nerves. My first visit with a cardiologist..is is very different when you are the patient. He explained the findings of the previous ekg, confirmed the continued issue and went over the possible causes for its irregularity. He also discussed what it might mean for my health in the future. We both agreed It required further testing and he went over what tests would yield the most information. I also appreciate his concern for my long commute to see him and to have the tests done. He suggested I have them preformed at a facility where they could be done the same day. He also planned a telahealth visit afterwards those tests to go over the findings. We also planned a return visit in 3 months. Today was one of the best overall experiences I have ever had ant any Vanderbilt facility. I have been a patient for many years. Have only had one bad visit, ever. Today was refreshing and closer to home. I am wry pleased and relieved that Dr Houff is taking a role in my healthcare team. I want to be the very healthiest I can be and I feel like I'm on the right track coming to Vanderbilt Heart in Columbia.

Dr. Houff is an excellent doctor, and he listens so well to your problems. Also, he keeps right up with the needs of each patient. We love Dr. Houff.
